Roles & Responsibilities

Reference the Network Rules and Procedures to ensure correct worksite protection is implemented.
Managing the safety interface between rail operations and trackside activities.
Implementing and maintaining Safeworking protection methods to ensure worksite safety.
Coordinating and supervising workgroups operating on or near rail tracks.
Ensuring compliance with Queensland Rail’s Safety Management System and Safeworking procedures.

Monitoring local operating conditions, including train notices, toolbox talks, and critical safety notices.
Conducting risk assessments and applying appropriate control measures.
Overseeing the planning and implementation of Track Authority forms for minor and major works.
Managing rail traffic movements and multiple worksites as required.
