Corrective Services Program
Through our partners, we are involved in the “Second Chance for Change Initiative”. This project aims to provide opportunity for Indigenous men to gain meaningful employment during, and after, incarceration. Stable work is an important factor in reducing recidivism, and we look forward to continuing to contribute to a healthy, safe community.
Women in Non-Traditional Roles
Gender diversity is an important part of any successful workforce. With the collaboration of our client partners, we are determined to improve the number of women finding careers in the rail industry. The participation rate of women in our workforce rose to 34% in 2020, and we are committed to reaching 50% gender diversity by 2025.
