The Company agrees to pay you a one-time cash signing bonus in an amount equal to $1,000 (the “Signing Bonus”), payable upon the completion of 1,000 hours of work within 12 Months with the Company, following the Company’s first payroll date following your Start Date and subject to all applicable tax reporting and withholding requirements.

 

To qualify for this payment you must have successfully registered and commenced work through the Company within 30 days of the start date of the Promotion (Earn $1000 Cash Bonus). You must specify when registering that you have registered as a result of the promotion and must be a permanent resident of Queensland, Australia with full work rights in Australia in line with the Migration Act 1957. All applicants will be assessed against our rigorous recruitment process and there is no guarantee that work will be provided. All applicants must pass our selection criteria and should the selection be successful, you must be willing and able to present for work as directed by the Company, all work will be in line with our employment terms and conditions and this sign on bonus is to be read in conjunction with those terms.  

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge and agree that if you voluntarily resign or the Company terminates your employment for Cause (each, a “Termination Event”) prior to completion of the 1,000 hours, the sign on bonus will not be paid. Should you resign prior to the first anniversary of your Start Date, you shall repay a portion of the Signing Bonus to the Company within 30 days of such Termination Event without reduction for any taxes withheld by the Company upon its payment to you of the Signing Bonus, as follows:

(i) if there is a Termination Event prior to the 12 month anniversary of your Start Date, you shall repay to the Company 50% of the Signing Bonus and

(ii) if there is a Termination Event prior to the first anniversary of your Start Date you shall repay to the Company 33% of the Signing Bonus.

By signing, you authorise the Company to immediately offset against and reduce any amounts otherwise due to you for any amounts due to the Company in respect of your obligation to repay the Signing Bonus under this paragraph.
